Women have the natural ability to start businesses. However, there are some business women who are considered less competent and have difficulty achieving success in running a business.
One of the main reasons for this assumption is because of the stigma circulating in society which states that women do not essentially work as businesspeople, but rather as wives and housewives and focus on the family.

The stigma that was mentioned earlier has actually been broken by the increasing number of women entering the business world. Not just as workers, but moving bravely in running a business or company that they started themselves.
However. The dilemma arises again, which one should be prioritized? Business or family? This dilemma may not be felt too much by women who are single and unmarried, but it will be felt very much by women who are married, let alone have children.

Is it true that women should be better off at home taking care of their husbands, children and household affairs? Is it true that running a business takes up most of a woman’s time, leaving her with no time to fulfill her obligations as a wife or housewife?

One of the biggest issues faced by women is their ability to adapt to multiple roles. The dual role here is a challenge as both a mother and a woman running a business. If you focus too much on business, your family relationships may become disharmonious. Not a few women end up choosing to give up their careers for their family, or even sacrifice time with their family to pursue a career.

Tips for Business Women

Create a Priority Scale
If you are one of the business women who is confused about how to divide your time, try to create a priority scale to divide your time between business and family.
Prioritize what you think is really important. For example, if you already have a husband and children, but a business partner asks you to hang out after work hours, which one will you choose? If you feel that your husband and children cannot be left behind for a while, try to gently decline the business partner’s invitation. So, besides knowing your priorities in life, you also need to be selective in dividing your time.

Manage Time While Doing Work
If you have difficulty managing to do a job, try to manage your time when doing the job. That way, it will be more helpful for you to do various jobs quickly. For example, morning activities start with cooking for around 10–15 minutes and continue with the next task. Do this so that all work can be well organized and the time you have is not wasted.

Make the Most of Your Break Time
Because you have to take care of business developments periodically, you only get holidays on Saturdays and Sundays? Relax. You can also take advantage of the limited time by resting as best as possible.
You can also use this rest time for me time or doing various things with your family at home. You don’t have to go on holiday or travel outside the house, there are lots of fun activities you can do with your family.

One thing you need to remember is that when you choose to become a businessman, it means that you already know the consequences that you will face. It would be best for you to understand from the start that being a business woman means you have to be able to balance family and business matters well.
Family is the main priority, but business cannot be left alone. So, manage your time as best as possible and be disciplined in carrying it out so that you can carry out all your responsibilities well. If you can do both well, why should you choose one, right?
